Life

So its been a freaking long time since I have posted on here! My life is kinda crazy and keeps me from being on top of this! But big news first! I GRADUATED!! Ok so its only my associates degree but still I have a college degree!! I am so glad to be done with part of school! No more generals! Since my last post in April I have spent most of my time working full time here at BYU. However, outside of work and school I did get to take a fun trip to Arizona!! This year we went to the Diamond Backs game! We got to sit in a press box and eat food til we we died lol. It was way fun! Not to mention they won the game too! Besides the baseball game we spent the rest of our time eating and laying out! What can be better than that?! Also since April I have turned 21!! I am now legal! What I will do with that I have no idea...but hey im legal lol. I have the best friends in the world too!! For my birthday they got me a date! lol pretty funny actually but hey it was way fun and I love those girls!! Besides the date they took me to Spaghetti Factory!! I love that place! We got to repeat a pretty fun night...Strictly food!! Thanks girls!! Love you!! We also went mini golfing! Heather kicked our trash like normal lol while I just plain cant play lol. I also got to go boating for my birthday!! I got to work on my wake boarding skills and get a tan! Yay!!! As for presents...my mom got me Nickelback tickets!!!!! Cant even say how excited I am for that! I love them! Next on the schedule of life is a move! I am moving from my apt to a new apt just down the road!! So excited!! I will have a washer and dryer in my apt...SOLD!! lol Besides that school is about to start! I am pretty nervous...I am doing all major classes this semester since I am done with generals. Wish me luck! But with a new school year comes new adventures!!

Daughtry Concert!!!

Well the most recent adventure in my life was the Daughtry concert!! It was amazing! I had so much fun! This was both mine and Jaclyn's first rock concert!! But believe me it wont be the last! The opening acts were just as good as Daughtry himself! They were Cavo and Lifehouse! Ok so im like the biggest Lifehouse fan!! But seriously I am an even bigger Daughtry fan!!! It was like the best concert I have been to so far! Me and Jaclyn had really great seats that were looking straight at the stage and really low-row 7!! I scored on the seats! Jaclyn got some really great pictures so I hope that she posts them!! For a little while we were even sitting close to the band Cavo. But I think what was really great was that all of the bands sound the same in person as they do on the radio. That is seriously hard to find these days! But officially I had the best time!!

As Usual I Never Update

Well I know that I am the worst person to keep a blog! It is something that I am always putting on the backburner and never keep updated. I would like to say that I am working on getting better...but that would be a lie. lol. Anyway life is pretty much the same old same old. School is super busy but going well. Work is kinda slow like usual...however I get lots of homework done! OH!! I do have to say that since it is getting warm outside, I have been able to return to my favorite spot on campus to sit and bask in the sunlight! Its a perfect way to catch some rays and catch up on homework...ok maybe just homework since I dont tan so well lol. Also exciting...school is out in 3 weeks!!!! Its about time! Only one semester to go and finally a degree to my name!! Oh and my oldest brother got engaged this past weekend! I am so excited for him! Well I think thats all for today! Hopefully I will have bigger news the next post!

TOO MANY DEATHS

The department that I work for here at BYU has had an eventful 3 weeks. Lets start with 3 weeks ago: I felt really bad, but one afternoon at work my boss called me in a panic and said that I needed to come to here office, that she was leaving for an emergency. So I went to her office. A few hours later she called me and said that her mom had died. I felt really bad! So Paula was then out of the office for the rest of the week for the funeral and arrangements. Paula returned to work on the following Monday. This very same day, I got the same phone call. Paula's dad had died that morning. I thought for sure it could not get any worse than loosing both of your parents only 1 week apart. So, I again took Paula's position for thew week. However on Thursday the other secretary that I work with in the mornings called me and said that her grandma had died. So, I was then covering for Paula and for Bekah. I felt so bad for both of them. Then to make matters worse this week our pet frog in the office died. Ok so I really have to say that it was the sickest thing that has happend in a long time. I had to clean it out. :( It smelled so gross and was just plain nasty. Finally, one of the grad students in my department's grandma died this weekend. I think that I may need to stay away from work??

Just for Mel

Ok so officially I am the worst blogger ever! I never update...and finally Mel told me that I had to fix it lol. Life is pretty uneventful lately. It seems to just be school and work oh and then more school and work. School is going really great though! I just took my first test of the semester and got 90%!! Off to a really good start! Now I just need to keep it up lol. I am taking six classes right now so its bit of a challenge! I am at Weber State and at BYU! I am loving both! I cant wait to graduate in the summer! Um lets see...I signed a new contract for a new apt for next school year! I am really excited! I will be only 2 blocks away from school, have covered parking-at least a little-, and a washer and dryer!! Its going to be great! I will really miss my ward where I am now and I will seriously miss Jaclyn!! But everything will be great! I am proud to say that this week I finally worked up enough courage to go the dentist lol. It had been a nice 7-8 years since I had been. Not such a good plan lol. But I am happy to say that I had no cavities and no problems!! Go me! lol. Well I think that is about it today! Mel, I will give an effort to get better at updating lol...no promises though!

Finally an update

Hello everyone! I know thats its been forever since I have updated my blog. I just never have time...ok I might also just be to lazy to write down all my life stories online lol. Well I finished my first semester at BYU! I love it down there! I really should have gone there first! I finally passed my math class also! It only took my 3 times lol but hey better late than never! I am also going to be going to 2 schools this coming semester. I will be going to Weber and BYU. I will be finishing my associates degree at weber to transfer to BYU...meaning no more generals at BYU. However I will be taking 17 credit hours...kill me now! Yikes, but it will be great in the long run. Other than school, I work...a lot! I work on campus as a secretary. However during the Christmas break I have been working for my grandparents in the fabric store. I have also been filling in at the moving company that I used to work for. Well in the midst of school and work I managed to have a great Christmas! I spent it with my family just hanging out and relaxing and got some great gifts! Christmas was also really great because I got to talk to my brother who is on his mission in Ghana Africa! He is doing really great! New years will be great because I get the whole day off work! I cant wait! Well thats all for now!

Parking Ticket Fun

I can proudly say that I have never gotten a ticket before...until last Friday. Ok so it wasnt a real parking ticket, it was just from BYU but still it was my first ticket of any sort. So after I did the walk of shame to my car...seeing the green ticket stuck to my windshield I went home to my computer to pay it. Well, when i got online to pay the ticket-i typed in my license plate number and it said I did not have any citations to pay. So I figured it was just not in the system yet so I left it for a few days. Well when I logged on again to pay it a few days later it was still not there. So today I figured I would try it again. Well same story...no citations to pay came up. Now I was really curious why it was not there, so I dug through my draw at home to find my ticket and see. Well wouldnt you know that it wasnt my license plate number!!! I was so freaking excited! Cuz its not my ticket I now really am citation free!!! GO ME!! lol It was a great suprise...not my fault the cop cant read!
