Finally an update

Hello everyone! I know thats its been forever since I have updated my blog. I just never have time...ok I might also just be to lazy to write down all my life stories online lol. Well I finished my first semester at BYU! I love it down there! I really should have gone there first! I finally passed my math class also! It only took my 3 times lol but hey better late than never! I am also going to be going to 2 schools this coming semester. I will be going to Weber and BYU. I will be finishing my associates degree at weber to transfer to BYU...meaning no more generals at BYU. However I will be taking 17 credit hours...kill me now! Yikes, but it will be great in the long run. Other than school, I work...a lot! I work on campus as a secretary. However during the Christmas break I have been working for my grandparents in the fabric store. I have also been filling in at the moving company that I used to work for. Well in the midst of school and work I managed to have a great Christmas! I spent it with my family just hanging out and relaxing and got some great gifts! Christmas was also really great because I got to talk to my brother who is on his mission in Ghana Africa! He is doing really great! New years will be great because I get the whole day off work! I cant wait! Well thats all for now!

Parking Ticket Fun

I can proudly say that I have never gotten a ticket before...until last Friday. Ok so it wasnt a real parking ticket, it was just from BYU but still it was my first ticket of any sort. So after I did the walk of shame to my car...seeing the green ticket stuck to my windshield I went home to my computer to pay it. Well, when i got online to pay the ticket-i typed in my license plate number and it said I did not have any citations to pay. So I figured it was just not in the system yet so I left it for a few days. Well when I logged on again to pay it a few days later it was still not there. So today I figured I would try it again. Well same story...no citations to pay came up. Now I was really curious why it was not there, so I dug through my draw at home to find my ticket and see. Well wouldnt you know that it wasnt my license plate number!!! I was so freaking excited! Cuz its not my ticket I now really am citation free!!! GO ME!! lol It was a great suprise...not my fault the cop cant read!

Who Knew!?

Well a few nights ago me and some friends from the ward decided we were going to go hot tubbing...so we put our suits on and went to the pool. Well when we got there, there was no water in the hot tub-go figure. So Jaclyn and Whitney decided maybe we would check out the pool. Well while they were sticking their feet in checking the water...I was busy watching a swimmer. However this is no ordinary swimmer! After watching it for a bit I finally asked the girls "guys what is that swimming over there?" Well we get to looking and it was a MOUSE!! EW!! The weirdest part is that is full on swimming around the pool! Who knew they could swim!? It was nasty! Needless to say we did not get in and left the pool. Well after that adventure we decided to make a run to Sonic-this time we added Mclean to the group. After our run to Sonic for drinks and treats, Mclean decided he wanted to see the mouse and see if it was still alive. So we went back to the pool. Well wouldnt you know that 45 mins later it was still swimming! Still really gross! But to make it better...Mclean was having hard feelings about leaving the mouse to die in the pool-just to make clear I wanted to leave it there!!So Mclean used the pool net to get it out and set it free...meanwhile us girls are watching it freaking out! I officially hate mice! And I officially dont think that I will ever swim in our pool!

New Adventure

Well its been a long time since I have updated by blog and figured I was way overdue. Well a lot has happened lately! Lots of big changes! The biggest change in my life is I moved out and I am living in Provo now! I live in a great APT with Jaclyn and one other roommate who doesnt really live here so really its me and Jaclyn! We are loving it! We both have our rooms and a vanity with a sink in our room too so no worries on sharing bathrooms! Its a big change but I am really starting to like it! I have transferred schools from Weber State to BYU! A bit of a shock, but I am loving it! Its like a whole new world down here! Everyone is so friendly and talks to everyone they see! I am taking Math (Algebra), American Heritage and Living Prophets. Hopefully this semester will be great! I have also started a new job! I am now working at the RMYL (Recreation Management and Youth Leadership) department for BYU! I am a secretary...while the job is pretty slow and not much happens all day I have plenty of time to do homework and to enjoy school! I also bought a new car! I have a new Honda Accord! Its so cute! Its white and has 4 doors! Its such an upgrade from the last car I drove! So the theme for my life the past couple of months is NEW! New car, new school, new city, new apt, new friends...its just all new! And Im loving it!

Birthday Fun!

Not like a birthday isnt fun on the day of...but whats better than celebrating for a whole week! Starting on tuesday last week I got the party rolling lol. I celebrated my birthday with my step-moms family! We went to Olive Garden for dinner..one of my favorites! :)Thursday I got to celebrate with my family! We went to Pizza Factory! I love that place. Then on Friday...my actual birthday...I had to work during the day but it was totally made up for by my boss buying red roses! I love her! :)I also got to go to dinner with all of my girls! We went to our group favorite of Spagehetti Factory! It was way great except our waiter was a looser lol. Then I got to do presents! I love all of my girls! Ash gave me this amazing card that was funny as heck! Shell gave me the cutest jewelery box ever and Jac and Heath gave me a stickin cute bag with an even cuter wallet! I love all my girls! Then to make the whole experience even better...we went mini golfing! Ok so I officially suck! lol I was 32 over par! The best part was Heather being 9 months pregnant and kicking all of our trash! lol. Go Heather! :) Then on Saturday I had to work at the store..but it was all day celebration! The bought me some really cute things for my apt and even brought in Pie! I was sold! Then after work I went to Amberlys and Jamies and got an awesome gift bag! :) Not to mention I am still doing some celebrating this week! Heck yes for birthdays! :)

Worst date ever!

Officially I have the worst luck with dating! So starting from the begining, this kid didnt even call me to ask me out...he text me. Then after 2 weeks of debating he finally decides what we are doing and when. So after getting everything situated I ask him if he is going to pick me up...the idiot responds with.."Oh..I guess I could." Come on!! So finally he decides that he is going to pick me up. Then when friday night rolls around he has the nerve to text me that he is there instead of getting out of the car to knock on the door. Not to mention that he never opened one door for me! Call me old fashion but really! So then we go to dinner and a movie and hardly speak 3 words to each other. Finally as the movie ends he asks if me I would like to do something else! NO!!! So I was like I have to work in the morning...luckily he took me home right after the movie. As he pulled into my driveway he turns to me and says nice to meet you we will have to do this again...doesnt even get out of the car!! So i opened the door and said goodbye and walked inside! It was the worst date in the whole freaking world!! He was a major idiot!! And thats putting it nicely!!

Mexico Fun!!

Last week me and my family went on vacation to Puerto Vallarta Mexico! We spent a week in the sun at the pool and the beach! The Weather was perfect everyday...sunny hot and well perfect! The hotel was awesome! It had a huge pool that sits right on the beach! And each hotel room was like an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 balconys! Each day we woke up and went straight to the pool! The best part of the mornings at the hotel was the free massage! Every day the massage thearapists from the spa go around the pool and give everyone a massage! It was amazing! One of the days of our trip I got to go parasailing! It was so freaking awesome! I thought for sure it was be scary but it was so amazing! You can see so much and it just feels like your floating up there! I would totally do it again in a heart beat! The whole week was amazing! I got to work on my tan and do a little shopping, hang out in the pool, do some crazy water aerobics, sleep, sip on fruity drinks and hang out with my family. I am already ready for my next vacation!

Finally done!!

It seems like it has been the longest semester of my life lol!! But I am finally done!! School was killer this semester, I took math, sociology, library science and microbiology. After a seriously long semester and endless homework, I finally get a break!! However, I ran into a glitch with math and I failed. lol. It was my first time failing a class! Always a first time for everything. Well needless to say I am going to have to retake math during the summer. Which totally sucks!! But hopefully the second time will be better lol. But life is good, and it should not be to bad. The best part is...After it is done I will be going to BYU!! Its all worth it!

Update

Just a quick update on my life...I am just about done with this semester of school! Its been a seriously long semester! Im excited to be done...and I totally refuse to do summer school even though I really should! I am also getting really excited for Jac to come home! Party! lol Besides school I have been working a lot this past month saving up money. I have also had a lot of fun buying stuff for my new apt! Its gonna be awesome to finally move out! Way exciting...I have a trip to Mexico coming up in a few weeks thats way past over due lol. Here comes the beach!! I have also cut my hair and colored it! Actually I chopped it lol. But I love it! Well thats me for now! :)

Big Week!

This week has been full of big things and things that are happening for the first time! So for the main thing this week, I have an ulcer! Totally stupid! At least in 6weeks it will go away! But even after a week and a half it is still very painful! But besides this, I got some great news this week! I was accepted to BYU!!! Im am so excited!! I will be moving out, and starting school in Provo in the fall! Its a big step for me! Kinda makes me nervous but I am really excited! But to make this week even better...its spring break! YAY! I took a day off on friday to just hang out and relax! I got to sleep in...then after doing stuff with my family I went bowling with Tyler, Kristine, Cam, and J. I totally suck at bowling but it was really fun!! I am so good that I can get a strike on my first turn of the game but gutter balls the rest of the game!! That takes talent. lol.

Trauma!

So this week has been an interesting experience. I woke up last tuesday kinda feeling weird, not sick just a funny feeling. Well the feeling gradually got to the point where it was a pain in my stomach. The pain gradaully got worse for a about 2 days. The pain has been so bad that I have not been able to sit up straight. I could lay flat on my back or I could stand straight up, but sitting was a killer task. It made work and school almost impossible. Well after a few day of being in pain and having it not get any better, I decided that I should make a doctors appt to figure out what was causing me so much pain. Well they were not able to fit me in until today. So I lived in pain all weekend. I will admit though that i have not been able to relax this much in years!! I got to lay around and watch TV and movies all weekend and sleep! It was very relaxing. Anyway I finally got to see what was wrong today! After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour and the fire alarm going off it was finally time. Well after poking and prodding and asking a million questions oh and even blood being drawn, the doctor came to the conclusion that I have an ulcer. Well yippie for me!! lol. So now I get to take antiacids and antibiotics for the next 6 weeks!! JOY! It has been a long and painful week but I finally think I am on the road to getting better!!

Really Strange!!!

So I had to have an endorsement done by my bishop and my stake president to apply to BYU, so I made appts to do both! Well all went well with the interview with my bishop, and then I had thought that my interview with my stake president had gone good too. But, somehow it went all wrong! I had this appt in the stake presidents office last sunday, with who I thought was my stake president! Well a week went by and my endorsement never showed up at BYU. So I called my stake president and asked if he had mailed it. Well he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and said that he must have misplaced it. So he said he would call me back in the morning after he had looked at his house and his work. Well he called me back and said that he couldnt find it so I needed to come back in and do it again. So I got a new form and then went to my bishop and had it done again. So then when I got to my appt with the stake president I walked in to his office and it was not the same guy at all!! He says well we have never met have we? I was like um no I guess we havent. So he asked me who I met with, I said I had no idea. I described him and he said he had no idea who it was! He then asked me what office it was in. I was like this office that we are in right now. He was just as confused as I am!! We still have no idea who I talked with or why. But it doesnt help that I am new to the stake and didnt know who anyone is! Well hopefully this time it all works out! Its kinda scary to think that I interviewed with someone that neither of us knew! It really just kinda adds to my weird week!

Weeks Adventures-

Well another week of my life has gone by. Man time flys! So an update on the adventures of my life over the past week are: school, school and more school, oh and work! Lol. Some fun things were going to institute on Wednesday! I seriously love that class! Not to mention there are some really cute guys in that class! It really keeps you going! Thursday was Greys night! Man it was a really good episode! I love that show! Cant wait for this week! Then on Friday I was like an old person and hung out at home all night and then went to bed freaking early...10:30. Man that was one heck of night. lol. Then on Saturday-Valentines Day-I spent a good majority of my day doing homework. Then, Shell Ash and Heather called and we went to lunch at DQ. It was pretty fun! Then we went to a movie, He's Just Not That Into You. It felt a lot like my life! lol. But it was still a good movie! Not to mention it was fun to hang out with my girls. Well all except one! :) But good times! Then on Sunday Me and Ash went to my new ward! Church was good...nothing to report. Then that night we all played games at Shells house! Man me and Shell really sucked that night! We usually kick trash! But dang we were bad! lol. I also finished really big things for school! Anyone who already knows...I'll keep you posted!! :) Monday was supposed to a sleep in day! But I got asked to work. So like a poor college student I said yes and had to work from 8-5! Long long day! But hey, money is money. Then Tuesday was adventure! lol. Me and Amberly decided to ditch Institute! We went for Gelato instead! LoL! It Amberly's new favorite thing! She was like a little kid on Christmas! I have a feeling we will be going back real soon! Well thats about it for now!

Dating Madness!!

Well I have no idea where dating went so wrong in my life! I have the worst luck with dating on the whole planet! If I like a guy they dont like me, or if they like me I dont like them. Well as that theory goes...I was lined up with this guy. Well it turned out that he was only 18! He was still in high school and just plain way to young for me! So as it turns out I was supposed to be lined up with his older brother, so we got that all situated and I was now talking to the right person. Its my aunts best friends nephew. To make a long story short he is not going anywhere with his life...no school no job...pretty much just no life. To make it even weirder he graduated this past year...I however graduated 2 years ago. To date someone younger is just way to weird for me! So I acted like I was not interested in the kid, and the more I acted that way the more interested he got! Go figure! And then today he text me and asked if we were on for friday night...uhh what?! I never knew about a date or even wanted to go or would ever even say yes to this guy! Well it turns out that his aunt (my aunts friend) told this kid that I would go with him without asking me. Well I never knew that I was going...CUZ NOBODY EVER TOLD ME!! Well I ended up telling him that I would have to reschedule. I felt like a jerk! But at the same time I felt pretty good about not having to go! But man my dating life is just a mess!! Why cant I get a date with someone that is normal and that I want to go a date with too!!??

Awesome Weekend!

This weekend was one of the best weekends I have had in a really long time!! It was a blast! On Friday I drove to Provo to spend the weekend with Ash! After I got there I got ready for my date!! My date was really fun! We went to Thoroughly Modern Millie play. I had never seen it before! It was so good! I loved it! Then after the play we went and got ice cream! Then we walked around BYU campus and just talked and had a ton of fun! Then when I finally got home from my date, me and Ash had some killer good thats what she said moments while blowing up my air mattress. Lol. Good times!! Then Saturday we woke up early to go to breakfast! We went and got unlimited french toast! Oh my gosh it was the best french toast I have ever had!! Then we went back to apt and slept till 1! lol I love my sleep!! Then We did Ashlee's grocery shopping and then went and saw Bride Wars! I seriously love that movie! Sunday was pretty good! We slept in and then went to church and Ashlee's ward! And Ash made seriously good enchaladas for dinner!! Heck yes!! It was a seriously great weekend!! Relaxing and exciting at the same time! I cant wait to go back and visit again! :)

Its been a pretty long week! On Saturday I went saw Bride Wars with my friends! It was so hilarious! The scary part is, I really think that could be me and my girls!! lol. I could just see us all fighting over a wedding date and beating each other up on the isle! lol. Ok so maybe not that extreme but I could see it happening! The best part of the whole night on Saturday is when Amberly totally ran into the wall!! You would have thought that the wall suddenly moved into the middle of the sidewalk the way she hit it!! I laughed!! lol. However not being able to find a spot to park and parking 3 blocks away from the gateway was kinda fun too lol...stupid Jazz game! Sunday and Monday were typical church, school, and work. Tuesday I went to institute and had a killer headache!! lol So all I could think about going home to bed lol...im not sure if I heard one word the whole class..it was so boring! Normally I love it! lol but this week was a challenge. Wednesday was pretty eventful!! lol I went to dinner with my family...dinner with the family is always an adventure! Its 22 people all fighting for a spot by their favorite person, then everyone being undecisive on food and then finally sending their food back 10 times!! Lol but the best part was my aunt trying to line me up with an 18 year old!! lol I laughed! He is still in High School!! Man thats jail bait!! lol Ok so I know that Im only 19 but I have been out of high school now for 2 years!! So I feel like we are 2 years apart! lol It just wasnt going to happen!! EVER!! lol. This weekend is going to be pretty sweet! I am going to Provo this weekend! I get to hang out with Ash!! And tonight I get to go on a date! :) It should be really fun! We are going to a play! Then Saturday we are going to breakfast and hanging out! Sunday is superbowl day! Wahoo! lol. It should be a party! :)

Well this week has been quite a week! Sunday I hung out with my wardies. We had a kickin game of Scene It! My team kicked trash!! I finally didnt have school on Monday! I have almost forgot what its like to a have a day off. It was pretty sweet...I spent my day off of school working! Yay for work! lol Then Tuesday and Wednesday I got to hang out with my friends at institute! The best part is after with all the great dessert!! Heck yes for pie! Thursday is always my favorite day of the week!! I love my sleep in day...not to mention Greys night! And Greys was seriously good this week! OH and the best part of the day was the getting a date!! Im pretty excited. Then tonight me and my family went to the Draper temple for a tour! It was really awesome! It was also kinda crazy cuz I saw so many people I know! It felt like high school lol. So far the week has been good! But yay for the weekend!!
